What do you think causes newcomers to bail on AB? And what would you do to fix that?

I was once told on this site I needed a bullet in the head. call me 'sensitive' if you will but I don't think that's how to go about attracting newcomers LOL! When I asked if that's what this site was about I was told that I should expect 'snarky' answers. Again IMHO not a good way to retain newcomers! Just saying... Not answering their questions would be another reason in my opinion why they might not return. What do you think?

I think a lot of people get here and find there are a lot of stupid, pointless questions being asked for the sole purpose of bragging rights of having asked the most questions.

Answerbag is not what they expected, knowing there are not a lot of users on this site who can go around and answer almost every question they see. So the initial excitement of a newcomer wears off. What can be done to fix it? Nothing. It's not my problem why Answerbag can't grow. LOL 😂
