Not sure. * It would seem kinda weird to me to have a space-magic-based Star Trek. They typically don't go in for the space-magic stuff, and I think fans of that series prefer that it be that way. * Similarly with Star Wars, where you have "a long time ago in a galaxy far away". That just doesn't "mix" with Star Trek. Nor does their trans-galactic transport technology. And of course there's the space magic problem again. *** Star Trek goes to Star Wars: "Scotty, I need to go back into the past." "Aye, Captain." "Into the very distant past." "Well, we might be able to manage that, Captain." "To a galaxy that's far, far away that we know absolutely nothing about. We need to go there because they have space magic." "Beggin your pardon, Captain, but are you out of your freaking mind?" *** Star Wars goes to Star Trek: "Luke, you need to travel far, far into the future." "OK, Opie Juan. How do I do that?" "Use the Force." "OK, Ope. Then what?" "Luke: then you also have to travel to a galaxy that's far, far away." "OK. How do I do THAT?" "Use the Force." "OK. Then what?" "My super magic space magic tells me that you'll meet a star ship named 'Enterprise'. They know about the most powerful force-using creature that will ever exist in any universe." "OK. Will they know what I'm talking about?" "No, they won't speak your language and they never heard of the force. Just remember this one word: 'Tribbles'..."
