Has Anyone Tried Elevated Angles in Sports Photography? Worth It?

I recently tried using a 10m telescopic camera pole during a high school soccer match, and the overhead shots were surprisingly game-changing. It gave me a clearer view of formations and dynamic plays I usually miss from ground level.
