There are Sumerian texts that teach the gods came to earth and brought the Mes, similar story in The Book of Enoch, and Pandoras box etc. We were given kingship, priesthood, vanity, weapons of war, how to domesticate animals and grass. We went from hunter gatherers to civilisations, we imprisoned ourselves, farmed the land, grew in numbers and became heavily reliant on farmland for food, control the food supply, control the population. Througout there have been mystery schools and teachings, while outside ritual was laid out in temples, churches, and mosques, but the inner teachings taught us to look inwards, to see our own darkness and bring it to light, in observation we could not deny it, they taught spiritual evolution of the soul, the soul currently incased in physical matter, as Christ says The kingdom of God is within, and we must become like Christ, to overcome the world, we don't experience God because of our ego, our desires projected outwards into the world, our thoughts keeping us trapped in the past, in our self pride, and the future, the fact we have these teachings shows there's something more, we are something more, and so the question is, Is there life before death?
