Oh my gosh yes! The Sierra Nevada mountains with heights up to approx 14,000 ft are there as well as Mount Shasta, Mount Lassen and Mount Whitney. The Siskiyous and the trinity alps are there too. Ca has lots of great ski resorts too. Several of our mountain pass roads are still closed for the winter due to snow pack. It is often very cold in the mountains in the winter here in CA. Some of the mountain areas over the Sierra crest and Tahoe basin are expecting snow tonight too. We are NOT all beach front land. 5/12/25
