I like the milder weather of spring and autumn in my area. Summers are really hot, and winters can be really cold. The word for autumn in my language literal translation is "it's finally cooling down." 8/15/25

dalcocono I am a Yokuts and Miwok American Indian from the mountains near Yosemite. I sometimes use "fall" too. In American English, they are synonyms. -

dalcocono Depends on who I'm talking to. Online conversations, I tend to use more "formal language "I just like the sound of the word autumn better than fall.
