Online tuffys are just fast typers with a mean attitude. They are remote and anonymous, and you can't reach out and "touch" them, so they are immune to anything but responding in kind. They don't care a feather or a fig if their victims are "vulnerable" or not. Those are the victims they like best, because they can make them cry easily. We all have a couple of choices when an online bully wants to start a fight. We can simply ignore them, or block them if possible, or engage them and give it back as mean as they are. When it comes down to it, they don't matter at all in your life, because all they can do is type furiously and hit send. They are nothing more than disembodied keyboards and they don't care about anybody else's feelings or emotional state. 8/18/25
