There are no Amish communities where I'm from, so I really only know what I see on TV about them. They were in the news recently over a measles outbreak that started in their community back east. They are a semi closed society with a lot of home schooling and a mistrust of modern medicine, so without school records or medical records, a lot of things like those mentioned are probably under reported. 8/28/25
