How about if you only say 1 word in a "45 minute period" over a 2 week period? Is that really talking?

  • Using one word is not really taking part in a conversation. A conversation between two people is supposed to be mutual and be responsive by using as many words as possible when responding or initiating conversation. When someone says “yes” or “no” to a question along with a detail that can be considered talking but if it is a type of question that requires only one word in the answer and not saying anything else, it means the person has said something but lacking in communication and being short on spoken words. Talking is considered as using many words among two or more people. You’re supposed to pull your weight in a conversation rather than expect someone else to do most of the talking.
  • An aunt rang me yesterday I think I got in about 8 words the entire time the rude old slag raved on , I wish I had the gutts to tell her to go away. She was raving on about me telling her sons to go and see her that she hasn't seen them or there children for years and wanted me to tell them to go see her. She made her bed she can lie in it, Her sons have told me many times dont even ring and tell us when they have died . Ive witnessed her autistic grand daughter flinching every-time she was close to her.
